Howard Bryant has many techniques to bringing information to the masses. He starts of with backround information and loads of facts and stories. Then he puts it all together and analyzes what happened during the time period of whatever he was talking about. Then he tosses in the things that make it obvious what is really going on behind the scenes for the reader. For example Jason Giambi gave his testimony on how he used steroids. Anyway during that testimony Giambi mentions that Barry Bond's trainer first suggested anaboil steroids to Giambi. What does that say about Bonds? Duh... the trainer probably suggested them to Bonds also. Now this does not tell us if Bonds took the suggestion, but it is very possible. To give even more evidence towards Bonds link to steroids Bryant shows Bonds career statistics and how when he was starting to wear down all of a sudden he was back in his prime. He also shows Bond's rapid weight and muscle gain over the years in Major League Baseball. He does this type of thing with all steroid linked baseball players.
